September 2021 Dividends

 Welcome everyone to my first attempt at blogging about my passive income via dividends!

This month I received $618.46 in passive income via dividends into three accounts - my TFSA, RRSP & RESP.

Here are the results:


Earning $0.86 per hour in September has brought my annual total to $3377.73.


2021 chart numbers are exaggerated since I transferred all my GRSP funds into my personal RRSP investing account and began recording the dividends.  Looking forward to '22 when I can really start to see an accurate reflection of my investments (hopefully in a positive trend!)  Thanks for stopping by!

      Yes, overweight in that sector by a lot, I have been able to lower it by 9% in my overall portfolio since the summer, long ways to go yet. Still lots of opportunity for the shares to appreciate more and set me up to spread those proceeds into other sectors, and increase my passive income. Thanks for reading!

Greetings everyone, welcome to my first passive income report of 2022. January was a pretty quiet month for account activity, I managed to add 33 shares of Manulife Financial, and 200 shares of ARC Resources in my only two transactions of the month, both inside my TFSA.  The $MFC purchase added $43.56 to my annual income, while $ARK added $60.  The $ARK purchase came after selling my remaining 2000 shares in Athabasca Oil Corp.  I believe there were still more gains to be made with $ATH, but I wanted to move those funds into a dividend paying company.  I exited $ATH up 149%, so no complaints at all! One dividend increase was announced for my portfolio - Tourmaline Oil Corp announced an 11% increase to their quarterly dividend adding $22.32 to my annual income, and they also announced another special dividend payable Feb 1st of $1.25 per share.  This follows a special dividend of $0.75 paid last October.  Can't wait for that special dividend to land in my TFSA and add more shares to

November 2022 Passive Income

Greetings everyone, welcome to my November 2022 passive income update. November was a busy month both in terms of passive income and life.  On the 30th, my family and I said goodbye to my aunt in Winnipeg.  She lived and enjoyed every day of her 87 years on this earth, she will be dearly missed. Dividend Increases/Announcements At the beginning of the month, Cenovus ($CVE) declared a variable dividend of 11.4 cents to be paid out in December, and Tourmaline Oil Corp. ($TOU) declared a special dividend of $2.25 per share payable this month. Eight companies that I hold also announced increases to their annual dividend of varying percentages - Tourmaline, CNRL, Arc Resources, Telus, Suncor, Alimentation Couche-Tard, RBC and Enbridge kept the business news wires busy, these increases will add a total of $381.48 in annual passive income! February 2022 Dividends

Greetings everyone, welcome to my February 2022 passive income update. February started off with my second dividend increase of the year.  $BCE announced a 5% increase to their quarterly dividend to $0.92 per share on Feb 3rd, adding $11.88 to my forward annual income.  In the middle of the month, TC Pipelines ($TRP) announced a 3.4% increase and Nutrien ($NTR) a 4.3% increase, adding another $16.12 in passive income in my accounts.  The following week, Whitecap Resources ($WCP) announced a 33% increase to their dividend starting with the April payment, adding $93.96 to my annual income.  In total, I received $121.96 in dividend increases! On top of my regular contributions to my TFSA, I also added $33.45 from the Ampli app.  This app tracks your spending and rewards you with a percentage, depending on the vendor.  I received an email from them that my accounts became disconnected from their service, not sure I'm inclined to continue with their service, too many adds for vendors no
